Inchcape clinches Waterways fleet deal

Inchcape Fleet Solutions has won an extended five-year contract with British Waterways to manage its 1000-vehicle fleet.
British Waterways is also considering using Inchcape's licence-checking and driver-profiling services.
Inchcape originally won the deal in 2004 following a competitive tender against six other fleet management and leasing companies.
The contract will see Inchcape responsible for the purchase of the Ford dominated fleet, and management of vehicles, fuel cards and accident management.
