King crowned AA president

The AA has appointed Edmund King as its new president.
King, previously executive director of the RAC, took up the post at the start of 2008. His role will be to lead the AA's campaigns on behalf of motorists.
King said: "The public face of the AA is rightly exemplified by the excellent work done by patrols, but there is also huge potential in further promoting the voice of the AA in the broader campaigning arena. I look forward to working with the AA team in taking forward that vision."
