Lawrence becomes new Sixt MD

Rental company Sixt has appointed Ian Lawrence as its new managing director.

Lawrence moves to the role from his former position as operations director.

He replaces Roger Freeman, who remains the managing director of Sixt's sister company United Rental Group.

The move will allow Freeman to concentrate fully on his role as United Rental MD.

Lawrence joined Sixt in 2005, and boasts 30 years experience in the car rental industry including 14 years at United Rental Group.
