Mitsubishi launches Evo X police car

Mitsubishi launched a police-liveried version of its Lancer Evo X FQ300 at the police fleet show last week.

The Evo X has passed the Metropolitan Police brake test and accident and emergency services electronics test, so can be used by all UK forces.

With a 0-62mph time of 4.7 seconds, the Evo X is aimed at police looking for a high-speed pursuit vehicle.

Mitsubishi sells about 450 blue-light vehicles each year.
