New Mini Crossover Concept debuts in Paris

Date: 12 September 2008

Mini has revealed pictures of its 4x4 Crossover Concept that will be making its debut at the Paris motor show.

Unlike the Clubman, the beefed-up Mini concept comes with two doors on either side - the right has two conventional openings, while the left has one swinging and one sliding door.

The four seats are all individual, and those in the rear can slide forward and back by 13cm to increase legroom.

BMW has confirmed the Crossover Concept will go into production, but not until 2010. It is hoped that version will also feature all-wheel-drive.
