Peugeot 308 estate to be unveiled at Geneva

Date: 25 February 2008

Peugeot will be giving the 308 SW its world debut at the Geneva motor show at the beginning of March.

The 308 SW, which replaces the 307 SW, offers a flexible seating arrangement: all three seats in the second row are individual, removable and identical in size. There is also the option of adding two further occasional seats in the third row.

Other changes over the outgoing car include an opening tailgate window and a panoramic glass roof that is now 27% larger.

Peugeot claims weight-saving measures will see an increase in fuel efficiency by up to 10%.

Prices have yet to be announced, but will be made clear before the 308 SW goes on sale in the UK in June.
