Nearly half of all car renters will consider purchasing the vehicle they rent, according to a survey from Avis.
56% of those quizzed said that, after renting, their perception of the manufacturer's range also improved.
The survey, which questioned more than 2500 renters from five European countries, showed that the average rental car is exposed to 105 drivers.
