Volvo appoints new UK boss

Volvo UK boss Peter Rask

Peter Rask will become boss of Volvo UK from the beginning of next year.

The 44-year-old Dane replaces South African Stuart Kerr, who has been appointed European regional president.

Rask has been with Volvo for 11 years and takes over as UK managing director after running the company's Greek and Swiss operations. He is a former vice president of global marketing and held management roles in Sweden and Belgium.

Rask will report to Kerr, who has run the UK operation for two years and takes on his new European supervisory role immediately.
