VW's Mk6 Golf now with Bluemotion

Volkswagen has confirmed the new Golf Bluemotion will emit just 99g/km of CO2 and achieve 74.3mpg.

The latest Golf Bluemotion car is powered by a 105PS 1.6-litre diesel engine, which still reaches 62mph in 11.3 seconds and tops out at 117mph.

It will usurp the fifth generation's Bluemotion car, which is only capable of limiting emissions to 119g/km.
