Auto Windscreens reveals new RAC-less branding

Date: 19 June 2009

Auto Windscreens has launched its new brand identity following its split from RAC and its Aviva parent company.

The new logo has been coming since Arques acquired Auto Windscreens late last year, and is being rolled out across the company from this month. The previous orange livery will disappear from the firm's vans as their lease expires, and the company's 97 fitting centres have all been updated.

Auto Windscreens has also introduced three sub-brands, manufacturing, specialist glazing, and innovation and training to highlight that it does more than glass replacement.

"Dropping the RAC from our logo provided us with an excellent opportunity to reclaim the independent Auto Windscreens brand," said Auto Windscreens marketing manager Ben Snowdon. "The introduction of the sub-brands lets our customers, competitors and the industry know that Auto Windscreens doesn't just repair and replace glass in cars and vans."
