Bipper gets Tepee treatment

Date: 26 October 2009

Peugeot has launched a passenger Tepee version of its Bipper small van, fitted with 1.4-litre petrol or diesel engines.

The new supermini-MPV will start from £9995 for the petrol version, while the more fleet-friendly 119g/km 70PS diesel starts from £10,995.

Available in two specifications, the Bipper Tepee starts with the S model, and the Outdoor upgrade adds air conditioning, raised suspension, larger body protection mouldings, roof bars and front foglights for an £800 premium.

The five-seater's 356-lite boot can be extended out to 884 litres with the rear row folded, and the back seats can also be removed to create a 2.5cu/m load area.
