Cadillac's new SRX small off-roader is due to arrive at the end of 2009 complete with a diesel engine.
The car will be fitted with the new 2.9-litre diesel engine also heading for the Cadillac CTS executive saloon this autumn, and joins 2.8- and 3.0-litre petrol versions.
There's also a chance of a more fleet-friendly smaller capacity diesel in 2010.
