Chrysler to quit UK?

Date: 11 November 2009

300C

Chrysler's new owner Fiat Group could drop the US brand in Europe in 2011, according to a report in a leading magazine for automotive industry.

Under the plan, Fiat would continue to sell the Voyager and 300C models under the Lancia badge.

Part of the restructuring plan would also see Dodge disappear, however Jeep will remain.

A spokesman for Chrysler did not deny the report, but said: "Nothing is yet confirmed for the UK, we're continuing as normal until we know more."
