Citroen reveals first electric model

Date: 16 November 2009

Citroen has unveiled its version of the electric city car it is sharing with Peugeot and Mitsubishi.

The C-Zero is the company's take on Mitsubishi's i-Miev that arrives in the UK early in 2010. Peugeot showed its version, the Ion, earlier this year. The C-Zero is due here in about a year, with a range of around 80 miles and top speed of 80mph. Citroen is looking to public sector operators, local authorities, smaller businesses and company fleets for prospective customers.
