Company miles up, CO2 down

Despite the recession, fleets are continue to increase their average annual miles but are mitigating the impact by choosing greener vehicles, according to the latest data from Leaseplan.
Average annual company vehicle miles rose by around 500 to just under 23,500 in the past 12 months, while emissions were down to 147g/km and have dropped by 14% since 2005.
Leaseplan boss Dave Brennan said the figures highlight the importance of the company car to businesses.
