Electric Citroen C1 launched

Citroen C1

UK firm Electric Car Corporation has launched an electric version of the Citroen C1 called the Evie.

The ECC Evie city-car costs £16,850 and has a range of 60 miles on a full six-hour charge.

Charging is carried out by plugging the car into a standard three-pin socket.

Designed as a city-only car the Evie has a top speed of 60mph and is the UK's first fully electric four-seater.
