Europcar appoints new boss

Daily rental firm Europcar has appointed Mark Cotterill to the position of managing director of Europcar Group UK.

Cotterill succeeds John Leigh, and moves to the role from his prevous position of general manager of Europcar Group UK.

Leigh has moved on to the role of chairman for Europcar UK Limited. Both men start their new jobs on 1 March.

Cotterill joined Europcar in 2003 as finance director, and has previously worked in finance-related roles for about 15 years.

Leigh has been involved in Europcar's UK operations for the past 35 years.
