Five by five for NCAP

Date: 01 June 2009

Five of the six cars included in the latest round of EuroNCAP scored the five stars for safety. The Audi Q5, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Kia Soul and lower medium Peugeot 3008 all hit the maximum score, while the Suzuki Alto supermini, on which Nissan's new Pixo is based, could only score three stars.

The small 4x4 Q5 scored best for adult occupant protection, mini-MPV Soul best for child protection and i20 and Jazz superminis top scored for pedestrian protection.
