FRANKFURT SHOW: All-new Ford C-max revealed

Date: 07 September 2009

Ford has revealed its all-new C-max mini-MPV ahead of its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show next week.

The new five-seat C-max continues the style of the Ford Kuga and Fiesta.

A Ford spokesman said: "The new Ford C-MAX will introduce a host of new technologies to the Ford range, including an all-new 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost direct injection petrol engine and other advanced features to enhance convenience and safety such as semi-automatic parallel parking and a blind-spot detection system."

The spokesman added the Ford C-max was based on the platform of the next generation Focus which is due late next year.

Further details of the Renault Scenic rival will be revealed at the Frankfurt show on 15 September.
