VW-owned Spanish brand Seat has unveiled low-emission versions of its Leon, Altea and Altea XL models, as well as an estate version of the supermini Ibiza.

All three new models are due early next year. All three are powered by a 1.6-litre 105PS engine and the Leon Ecomotive is the first Seat to be fitted with the stop-start system making its was across the VW Group. More details, including pricing and fuel economy figures, will be revealed nearer the on-sale date.

They will be joined towards the middle of 2010 by an estate version of the Ibiza supermini, previewed by the IBZ Concept.

Devised as a rival to the Renault Clio Sport Tourer and Peugeot 207 SW, the IBZ Concept is near-production-ready and will join the three- and five-door versions of the Ibiza already in the range as what Seat calls a "family-sized" version of its most popular model.

The boot is quoted at 410 litres, which compared with the 207 SW's 428 and 439 for the Clio ST.
