Highways Agency dominates Land Cruiser fleet sales

Date: 11 November 2009   |   Author: Tristan Young

Land Cruiser

Toyota aims to sell precisely 1160 new Land Cruisers in the UK next year.

While fleet sales will account for nearly 25% of this figure, the majority of this is to one customer - the Highways Agency.

Toyota has simplified the line-up for the new Land Cruiser with only a seven-seat 3.0-litre diesel automatic version being available in three trim levels. The majority, about 65%, of sales will be of the top-spec LC5 model. However the entry level LC3, priced at £29,995, has been brought in specifically for the Highways Agency contract.
