Investment in staff key to beating the recession

Delivering an outstanding customer experience, along with continued investment in new staff and developments, is the key to business survival and expansion, according to Inchcape Fleet Solutions.
The firm claims too many organisations have cut jobs, halted research and development programmes and pulled back from 'non-essential' programmes.
"In an economic downturn companies cannot afford to stand still," said IFS customer service director David Graham.
