Lexus grabs another JD Power victory

Lexus has take top spot in the annual JD Power Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey for a record ninth time, with the luxury brand's RX model also named best model, ahead of the Toyota Prius and Honda Jazz.

The survey, based on the results of 15,700 online surveys of car owners after an average two years of ownership, placed Honda second, ahead of Mercedes-Benz, Skoda and Toyota.

Jaguar, Mini, Porsche, BMW and Volvo rounded out the top ten.

At the other end of the scale, Fiat came last of the 29 brands, with Chrysler, Chevrolet, Vauxhall and Renault also in the bottom five.

The top citycar was Toyota's Aygo, the Jazz was best supermini, Skoda's Octavia won the lower medium category, top executive model was the Audi A6, the Mercedes SLK took best sports car prize, Citroen's C4 Grand Picasso was best MPV and the Lexus RX was top SUV.
