Lexus to take on Audi A3 and BMW 1-series

Lexus is to reveal a concept car that previews its attack on the biggest volume segment in fleet.
The Premium Compact Concept, previewed in this official sketch, will be revealed at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, and though details are scarce, Toyota's premium brand Lexus has confirmed that the car will be a "mix of technical innovation and ground-breaking design that promises to raise the bar in the premium compact segment."
The car should be on sale by the end of next year.
