Lombard appoints new boss

Date: 12 February 2009

Lombard Vehicle Management has named Stuart Houlston as its new boss.

The appointment follows the promotion of former boss Rob Bailey to the position of regional managing director for parent company the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Houlston comes to the role from his previous position as head of customer service for LVM. In that role he was responsible for several areas including credit control and customer care.

Houlston joined Lombard in 2003 from computer company Dell.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage our scale and the investment made over the past few years," said Houlston.

"In my new role I will retain a special focus on customers, building on the success of the business under Rob Bailey, and aiming to provide the best customer experience in the business.
