Long Bed means an extra seven inches for Mitsubishi drivers

Date: 01 May 2009

Mitsubishi is hoping for a boost from an extra seven inches with the launch of its new L200 Long Bed pick-up.

The Japanese firm said it's responding to "the one justifiable criticism" of the L200 double-cab pick-up, in that it has a short load bed.

Priced at £750 over the £14,499 standard double cab L200, the Long Bed carries its extra load length in rear overhang rather than an extended wheelbase, and will be sold side-by-side with the current model.
