HMRC has revealed the latest advisory fuel rates, which have remained near static due to little fluctuation in fuel prices over the past six months. The rates, which apply to drivers using their company cars on work business, apply from 1 July 2009.

The rates change for all diesel cars (dropping by 1p per mile), petrol engines over 2000cc (up 1p) and 1.4-2.0-litre LPG cars (down 1p).
