New Prius prices held

Date: 28 May 2009

2009 Toyota Prius

Toyota has confirmed pricing for its all-new Prius hybrid will start at the same level as the outgoing version.

The new Prius goes on sale in August priced from £18,370 for the entry-level T3 model. Pricing is also held for the top -spec T-spirit version at £21,210, however, the mid-spec T4 trim level sees an increase of £835 to £19,990. Toyota attributes the increase of the T4 to upgraded equipment levels including auto wipers, alloys and Bluetooth.

The new Prius has a CO2 figure of 89g/km and an official fuel figure of 72.4mpg.
