Off daytime running lights

Transport minister Paul Clark has reiterated the Government's position to oppose the EC's proposal to make daytime running lights compulsory on all vehicles following a Parliamentary question from Conservative MP Greg Knight.
However, from mid-2012 all new vehicle models will have to be fitted with low-wattage, more efficient alternative to running lights.
