Ogilvie Fleet reviews funding

Date: 03 April 2009

Ogilvie Fleet is in negotiations to replace one of its funding streams, which was lost when Alliance & Leicester pulled out of providing funding to independent leasing firms and brokers.

Ogilvie operations director Jim Hannah said: "We've lost them [Alliance and Leicester] as a funder, but they are just one of our funders."

On the matter of replacing Alliance & Leicester he said: "We've got one or two things we are looking at. They are not set in stone but they are in negotiation.

"We are still taking on new business."

Alliance & Leicester pulled its funding in the market to bring it in-line with its new owner, the Santander Group, which only deals direct with customers.
