Scrappage extended

The £2000 discount off a new car offered by the Government to anyone scrapping a 10-year-old vehicle has been extended to February 2010.
Owners will now be able to get the discount on cars built before February 2000. Van owners have been given a further boost as they will now be able to scrap eight-year-old vehicles.
