Both the major auction firms reported a drop in auction prices last month, with BCA revealing a 3.0% fall in cars from fleet sources to an average £7616, while Manheim saw a drop of 2.1% to £6413.
This was only the second drop of 2009, and according to Manheim the overall figures still sit at 27% above October 2008 thanks to the large rises in residual values seen through the first half of 2009.
