Volkswagen will add a pick-up called Amarok to its line-up in 2010.
The new commercial vehicle will be launched as a double-cab pick-up with a single-cab version available later.
Amarok, which means 'wolf' in the Inuit language, will be VW's first full-size pick-up and will be powered by a choice of diesel engines.
