96g/km CO2 for Lexus CT 200h

Date: 13 September 2010

Lexus has announced its hybrid lower medium car, the CT 200h, will have 96g/km CO2 emissions.

Currently, the lowest emitting premium hatchback is Audi's 99g/km A3 1.6 TDI.

The car, which is available to order in October, is set to do around 68.9mpg and businesses will pay a 10% Benefit-In-Kind tax band.

Drivers can choose either dynamic or relaxing driving modes, via four selectable modes for the full hybrid system: Normal, Eco and EV plus a Sport setting that "adjusts certain performance parameters for a more engaging drive" says Lexus.
