BusinessCar editor Paul Barker was invited to join the speaker line-up at the 2010 ACFO conference to explain how the magazine's exposé on Government department's almost universal failure to check their staff's driving licence had been undertaken.
The investigation eventually led to ACFO producing a best-practice guide to document checking, as revealed in the previous issue of BusinessCar (18 May). The guide was launched at the conference and is now available to all ACFO members, and has also been sent to Government departments.
