Auto firm buys 43 Citroen LCVs

Date: 10 June 2010

Central Auto Supplies has taken delivery of 43 Citroen LCVs.

The company, which has 19 depots, has bought 41 Nemo 1.4 HDi LX vans and two Relay 35 LSH2 120 vans.

Supplied by Citroën dealer Duff Morgan, Norwich, the Nemo vans were chosen for their fuel efficiency and low emissions.

Peter Jipson, CAS operations manager, said: "CAS is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of its vehicle fleet, through driver training and the specification of state-of-the-art technology.

As such, the Nemo - which is the UK's most fuel efficient van and has the lowest CO2 emissions for a high cube LCV van - is an excellent fit for our business.

"We are delighted with the Nemo's 60+mpg fuel economy capability on our multi-drop delivery pattern and its low cost of operation - while our drivers benefit from a high level of comfort and safety equipment."
