BMW 5-series gets M Sport package

BMW has announced new editions to its 5-series range. Both the saloon and Touring iterations will be available in M Sport in September.

With prices from £31,270 to £53,615, the models have M Sports suspension, aerodynamics and 19-inch alloys.

The carmaker will also introduce its most powerful 5-series diesel - the 299hp 535d Saloon - with 165g/km CO2 and official fuel figures of 46.3mpg,

The 5-series Touring gets three new engines - two 3.0-litre diesels with 299hp and 204hp and a 3.0-litre 258hp petrol variant. Prices range from £35,390 for the 528i SE to £44,320 for the most powerful diesel , the 535d SE.
