Demand for 4x4 leasing

Demand for off-road vehicles on three-month leases has rocketed as a result of the poor weather, according to Equalease.
The firm claims to have been swamped in the early part of this year, as companies and organisations look for vehicles with the capability to reach remote areas, particularly health and utility services.
"Few daily rental fleets carry large numbers of 4x4s, so we have been one of the few sources available to supply a suitable vehicle at short notice," said managing director Paul Ashton.
