ESP fitment on the up

The number of new cars that feature ESP anti-skid control is up to 59% of all registrations, according to technology expert Bosch, compared with 56% at the end of 2008.
The firm said 23% of superminis were fitted with the equipment either as standard or as an option.
Meanwhile, Peugeot has announced ESP is now standard across the 308 hatchback and estate SW range.
