Evoque expands to five-door

Date: 10 November 2010

Land Rover has unveiled its five-door Range Rover Evoque, joining the three-door coupe version that was displayed at the Paris motor show in September.

Arriving next summer, at the same time as the three-door, the new bodystyle has a 30mm higher roofline, and rear seat passengers benefit from an extra 50mm in shoulder room.

The most efficient engine will be the 150hp 2.2-litre diesel which, in front-wheel drive form should achieve 135g/km, though official figures aren't yet available. There will also be all-wheel drive variants, and a 190hp version of the 2.2 diesel.
