IAM to rebrand its fleet division

Date: 01 April 2010

Driver training firm IAM is to fully merge, rebrand and relaunch its fleet driver training divisions IAM Fleet and Drive & Survive.

Launching on 13 April, the new commercial division of IAM will be called IAM Drive & Survive.

The merger has been expected ever since IAM bought Drive and Survive in 2005.

The merger and rebranding has been masterminded by chief executive Simon Best, who was promoted from MD in November last year.

Best said: "In the past six months IAM and its commercial divisions have undergone a lot of positive change.

"IAM Fleet and Drive & Survive are two of the UK's leading providers of driver training and assessment. These companies together offer a completely comprehensive range of driver training and driver risk assessment products with both on-line and on-road driver training modules."

Commenting on the merger, a spokesman said there wouldn't be any job losses as a result of this move as structural changes occurred following the purchase of Drive & Survive.
