ICFM freezes member fees

Date: 01 June 2010

The Institute of Car Fleet Management has kept membership rates at 2009 levels, meaning members have not had a rate increase since 2006.

The move mirrors the Association of Car Fleet Operators' decision earlier this year to maintain the previous price rather than inflict an increase upon it members.

The institute has also cut fellowship rates by £15 to £65, while affiliate membership stays at £20, associate membership at £45, and full membership at £55. The latter three are all also subject to a one-off £20 application fee.

"The ICFM Council did not consider it appropriate, given the critical focus on all costs within our industry, to raise fees at this time," said ICFM chairman Roddy Graham. "Membership continues to represent excellent value for money and the increased professionalism within the sector demonstrates the vital role the ICFM has to play in ensuring members in turn deliver added value to their employers."
