Lex Autolease has become the largest customer to date for the 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform.
The vehicle leasing market leader has signed up to the product, which links fleet buyers and suppliers of car and van daily rental online in real time.
Ian Drayton, senior manager of car and van rental, at Lex Autolease, said: "We've had a relationship with epyx for some time and benefited from packages such as maintenance and downtime management software. But were now looking to work more closely with a select group of high performing suppliers and extend the benefits of their services to more of our customers.
"1link Hire Network fits perfectly into this category and we will be introducing a larger number of customers to the platform over the coming months.
Drayton added: "It enables us to create new efficiencies in the daily rental services that we supply to customers. We will be able to communicate with them and with our suppliers much more quickly, while offering improved service levels. It's an all-round win."
