The start point for the best source of fleet information

M6 Toll takes fuel card payments

Date: 12 April 2010   |   Author: Sam Burnett

Keyfuels card holders can now use them to pay M6 Toll fees. Businesses using the fuelcard will receive a monthly invoice for their fleet's charges alongside fuel transactions. Jakes De Kock, marketing director at fuelcard reseller The Fuelcard Company, a Keyfuels partner, said: "Having a cash-free payment system will cut drivers' travelling time - they simply swipe their card."

The M6 Toll carries around 43,000 vehicles daily from Monday to Friday. Midland Expressway Ltd, which runs the toll, has welcomed the move and will be looking to boost numbers after 2009 saw a 6.9% drop in weekday traffic. Keyfuels is the second card accepted on the M6 Toll, joining Total's fuelcard.
