New UK boss for Europcar

Leading car and van hire company Europcar has appointed Ken McCall as its new UK managing director.

He replaces Mark Cotterill who has left the business.

McCall was formerly chief executive of DHL Express UK and Ireland and has also headed up TNT.

Europcar UK said its new chief would focus on market leadership and customer experience as well as dealing with new products and services and driving growth of the Europcar brand worldwide.

As well as Europe, Europcar operates in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia Pacific. It has 7000 employees and a fleet of 190,000 vehicles.
