New upper medium Peugeot to resemble the Geneva 5

Peugeot's new upper medium car, on sale in 2011, looks set to largely resemble the 5 concept shown at Geneva,
There has also been hints that a hybrid version will be offered.
A hybrid version of the lower medium 3008 has already been confirmed, which will go on sale in spring 2011 and offer emissions of 99g/km CO2.
Peugeot loosely estimates there will be a £2000 premium over standard models.
Meanwhile, production of Peugeot's all-electric Ion has been confirmed with sales expected to start in late 2010. Peugeot said the majority of volume will be fleet because the car is most likely to be rented.
"The car is more affordable to operate by way of a lease," it said.
The Ion is expected to be on the market before the Mitsubishi Miev - essentially the same car under a different name.
