The start point for the best source of fleet information

New Vauxhall Movano

Date: 10 February 2010

Vauxhall will offer van operators the choice of 29 body types when the first models in its new second generation Movano range go on sale in May priced from £21,660.

Anticipating best-in-class fuel consumption from a trio of 2.3-litre, four-cylinder, common-rail diesel engines, Vauxhall also claims the power units, in 100PS, 125PS and 150PS forms, have 250,000-mile life expectancies.

Extended mileage service intervals and reduced maintenance costs are also part of the Movano's reworking, which includes extending the load length to 4.4 metres on the L4H3 version that offers a 17cu/m loading capacity.

The modular platform, developed jointly with Renault, offers front- or rear-wheel-drive formats while continuing growth of sales to internet delivery companies dictates the option of a rotating laptop table.
