Renault is the latest brand to get its supermini below the 100g/km with the arrival of its lowest-emitting model yet.
The Clio dCi 86 eco2 achieves 98g/km and 76.3mpg, 17g/km and 12.1mpg better than the standard model, through aerodynamic engine and tyre modifications. Renault has confirmed that the Eco2 model will cost the same as the higher-emitting version currently does, though equipment levels will vary.
