Skoda appoints fleet sales manager for north

Skoda has appointed James Horne as new fleet sales manager for north of England and Scotland.
Horne, who previously worked at contract hire firm Arval, will cover fleet sales for Skoda in north Manchester, Carlisle and northeast England including Newcastle, Middlesborough and Durham as well as Scotland.
The carmaker said Horne's objectives are to meet and nurture client relationships and to discuss the benefits of choosing Skoda models for fleet with prospective customers.
Horne said: "I join Skoda at a very exciting time, following the launch of new Superb Estate and the launch of the Fabia vRS this summer. The product offering for fleet is exceptional and I am finding that public service authorities are particularly keen on the Octavia for their rapid response services - situations in which they need reliable and fuel efficient transportation.
"My main challenge is to win over user-choosers about the benefits of Skoda, and I am confident that, once consumers have test driven a Skoda for themselves, they will never look back."
