Prominent ACFO member Nigel Trotman has joined lease firm Alphabet to head the company's strategic consultation team. Trotman moves from being senior fleet manager at Lex Autolease to the newly create role, and was previously business relationship manager for Whitbread Group.
"I'm delighted to be moving to Alphabet at this exciting point in its development, and I look forward to upholding our consultancy offering as the best in the business, whether customers are looking at risk, environment or cost performance," he said. "Dedicated in-house experience is becoming ever more valuable. The fleet manager population is smaller than it was and HR, finance and procurement managers are looking for suppliers who can bring the skills in with them."
The strategic consultancy team advises on everything from cost reduction and car choice policy through to salary sacrifice and road risk mitigation.
